Bio & AbstractAnna is an artist currently based in Salt Lake City, UT. With traditional training, she has found great liberation in practicing abstract expressionism. Her work explores the complexity and unity of the human experience while observing its relationship with the natural world, often accompanied by existential themes.
Her paintings, with emphasis on form, color and process, intend for us to slow down and connect to our present experience. Often breaking many rules before following them, her body of work revolves around playfulness, intention, meditation and curious awareness. Anna’s work draws upon the intricately connected human experience and intends to offer a bridge to what is around us and within us; in a way that extends beyond language.
